FIFA 11 – FIFA Soccer 11

FIFA series from EA Sports no longer needs introduction, probably the most popular football game series in the world. Obviously, this does not mean that FIFA is the best game of this kind, often Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) proved to be superior, at least in certain respects.

Autumn this year came with a new version, called simply FIFA 11 and, respectively, FIFA Soccer 11 U.S.. Producers promise a series of important updates, but unlike previous years this time might even be right on it.

Unified Engine

First, because EA Sports has confirmed that the PC version of FIFA 11 will use the same engine as versions for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Hardcore fans of the series have strongly requested that in recent years, as the console versions had a superior quality compared to the PC, and studio producer said he took two years to make a port work as well. All three versions will have the same gameplay features and game modes.

Personality +

Turning to the facilities offered by FIFA 11, we must say that one of the major news is Personality +. As the name suggests, EA Sports has proposed to draw an equal sign between the skills of a player in the game and its counterpart in reality. In other words, the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo will have a greater efficacy of the implementation of free kicks and Spaniard David Villa shots at the gate will turn many of his goals. On the other hand, we must regard this function will be available only for well-known players, because abilities implementation is not as easy as it might seem at first sight.

Other News

One of the chapters in which Pro Evolution Soccer has excelled over the years has been the accurate images. EA Sports is preparing a counteroffensive and promises the players will be much closer to those of reality, and enjoying the animations in real time depending on the type of phase: acute pain after a foul, a small grimace when a hit head and, of course, the joy of a goal after marking it.

FIFA 11 will benefit from a new system called Pro Passing. Accurate passes will depend on more than individual players skills and how to reach the ball will be more natural than ever before being disposed of in a kind of dubbed passing.

FIFA 11 is available on the PC platform, the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS and PSP. Also, there will be a last generation mobile version of the game.

Gran Turismo 5 Finally Launched

One of the most anticipated games in recent years has finally arrived in stores, to the delight of car racing enthusiasts. First announced in 2005, Gran Turismo 5 was released recently after a series of successive postponements.

Even if this resulted with unhappy players at that time, the reasons behind the successive delays are understandable. Due to staggering figures, Gran Turismo 5 is not a simple racing game but a real passionate collection for not more than 1031 cars can be tested on one of the 71 circuits of the game.

The Main News

After a development period of five years, it is natural that Gran Turismo 5 to enjoy a myriad of news compared to the previous version. Thus, among the updates include realistic damage car accidents (both in terms of aesthetic, as well as technical level), simulation of extreme weather by rain and snow, creating your own circuits, and compatibility with 3D TVs.

Available Cars

It is impossible to enumerate in this article all the 1031 cars available in Gran Turismo 5. We will summarize and promised that the Bugatti and Lamborghini are represented for the first time in this series, along with any important world premieres over the past two years. Not missing but no historical models and concepts that will not likely see again for several versions. One of the most exciting Red Bull X1 prototype is developed by Adrian Newey, one of the most knowledgeable designers in the history of Formula 1, exclusively for this game.

On the other hand, Gran Turismo 5 includes licenses for cars from sports competitions such as the WRC, NASCAR, Super GT, Le Mans, which means that you can get inside for an adrenaline taste of rally drivers at the wheel of models such as Citroen C4 WRC and the Ford Focus RS WRC. It has also been created and a module for karting, with which you can learn how to start their professional careers of all pilots in the world of motorsports.

In Gran Turismo 5 cars are divided into two categories: Standard and Premium. The latter category, which forms 20% of the total, game can use certain features, such as beam or high beam lights, but also more complex interior.

World of Warcraft Cataclysm Add-On – Major Changes

Wrath of the Lich King, the latest add-on of the successful MMO RPG World of Warcraft was launched just over two years ago. And meanwhile the players were a little bored, having no new content to keep them busy. But in mid-April this year 2010 people at Blizzard have released a new add-on, Cataclysm.

And it brings major changes. Everything starts with the return of the Deathwing the Destroyer dragon in Azeroth, last seen in Warcraft II. Meanwhile it has completely healed, and with his coming, a cataclysmic event occurs that completely reshapes the world of World of Warcraft.

So the environment changes, the missions that we can play are changed and the levels are completed somehow more fluent. As you only have to climb up to 85 now. We have flying mounts on all continents, seven new dungeons and three raiding. And now there are a few extra places for exploring.

A new secondary skill was introduced, archeology, two new races: Goblins of the Horde and Worgen (druids that turns into werewolves) on the Alliance side, and the old races can have other classes so far unavailable to them. Plus many other changes big and small, that completely change the game experience.

The graphics were slightly improved, receiving some DirectX 11 features. But the system requirements have changed a little. We need a minimum of 1.3 GHz processor with 1 GB of RAM, 25 GB free on HDD, and GeForce FX or Radeon 9500 graphic card. And the recommended system requirements are a dual core CPU with 2 GB of RAM, 25 GB HDD and GeForce 8600 or Radeon HD 2600 with 256 MB memory graphic card.

Cataclysm World of Warcraft will be released on December 7, 2010, priced at $40.
