Acer introduced to the public the world’s thinnest ultrabook. The company launched at CES 2012 the new Aspire ultrabook called the S5. With a maximum thickness of 15 mm, the device is currently the thinnest ultrabook. But this is not the only aspect that impresses.
Acer is proud that the Aspire S5 comes out of standby mode in just 1.5 seconds. It can do this using Acer Instant On technology. The company states that users can get out of the sleep mode using their smartphones.
The new device also features Acer Aspire Always Connect, a service that updates the mail box and messages received through various social networks while the device is in standby mode – a feature not to neglect.
